7 STEPS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE
Meaning
When we start a business, the most important thing for us is our customers. We do business for our benefits and income but our business is dependent on our customers. We should provide good service to our customers so that they come to us again and again.
Here are some reasons for customer service:
(1) Warm Greeting
Whenever a customer comes to us, we should welcome him politely and understand his problems and issues.
(2) Active Listening
Whenever the customer says something, let him say it and don’t interrupt him. If you don’t understand what the customer is saying, try to ask him again in an agreeable manner.
(3) Show Empathy
Understand the customer’s problem and understand the situation and sympathize with him and find a solution to the problem
(4) Understand Issue
If necessary, ask questions so that the problem can be understood and a solution can be found as quickly as possible
(5) Offer a Solution
Give a good and simple solution so that it can be understood well. If it will take some time then tell the customer honestly.
(6) Take Action & Follow Through
Solve the customer’s problem in the shortest possible time and if it takes more time, tell the customer politely
(7) Close Positively
After solving the problem, confirm to the customer whether you are satisfied or not and invite him to call you if he faces any problem in the future
